A full day from Florence to the Cinque Terre by bus or minivan, with a guide who takes you from one village to another by train and, in the options, on foot from Corniglia to Vernazza or to Pisa. Choose this if you do not want to organize travel, trains and connections yourself and want to sleep in Florence the same evening.

You depart from Florence, from one of three meeting points that depend on the option chosen, and after about 2 hours by bus you arrive in La Spezia, where you board the first train. The day goes through Manarola, with a short guided walk among the vineyards, then Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso and Riomaggiore, before returning by train to La Spezia and by coach to Florence. It lasts 12-13 hours. On GetYourGuide it has 4.9 out of 5 with 6,289 reviews and starts from $61 per person (October 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
The price includes transport, the guide, the train tickets and what the listing calls «entry ticket to the Cinque Terre National Park»; the «transport only» option does not include either the trains or the Park. An entry ticket to the Cinque Terre does not exist: the villages can be visited freely, and the Cinque Terre Card is only needed for the paid Sentiero Verde Azzurro and for the Via dell'Amore. For reference, those traveling alone use the Cinque Terre Treno MS Card for trains between Levanto and La Spezia: for an adult, 1 day, it costs €22.00, €29.50 or €35.00 according to the green, yellow or red band of the Trenitalia 2026 calendar (from 14 March to 1 November 2026), and €17.30 with the single rate from 2 November to 31 December 2026, as reported on the Park's Treno Card price list.
Three warnings. The boat is not included: from late March to October, if the weather allows, the sea stretch from Monterosso to Riomaggiore is confirmed and paid on the day. The trekking from Corniglia to Vernazza is only with the dedicated option, and the listing warns that the itinerary may change due to trail closures, bad weather or unforeseen events. With the Pisa option you see three villages (Vernazza, Monterosso and Riomaggiore), with the boat but without trekking, and then Pisa. The tour is not suitable for children under 8, those with mobility difficulties and wheelchair users.
The meeting point depends on the option: the listing indicates three and yours is in the confirmation. There is no hotel pick-up.
During the journey the guide introduces the Cinque Terre. In La Spezia you board the first train of the day.
A short guided walk among the vineyards, then free time to explore the village at your own pace.
In Corniglia you climb the stairs to the centre. Those with the trekking option continue on foot with the guide to Vernazza, the others get there by train. In Vernazza there is time for a coffee or a swim.
By train to Monterosso. From late March to October, if the weather allows, continue by boat along the coast to Riomaggiore: the trip is confirmed and paid on the day.
After Riomaggiore, the southernmost village, return by train to La Spezia and by coach to Florence. If you have a train from Florence, the listing recommends booking it after 21:30, for possible delays due to traffic.
★★★★★Angela and Alessandro were very good guides. The tour is well organised, even if the options are many: visit the 5 villages of the Cinque Terre or 3 villages plus Pisa. There are options for those who love walking and for those who prefer to take the train. Highly recommended [...].
★★★★★The excursion is quite long, but the time spent in each place is very comfortable. The guides were excellent (Ado and Jojo). Highly recommended!
★★★★★I booked the tour with three Cinque Terre villages and Pisa and it was really fun! Our guide Chris was very knowledgeable, kind and caring. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. [...] I was quite anxious about the idea of a tour with so many train and bus changes, but Chris was able to reassure me immediately [...].
★★★★★Noemi was our guide and she was excellent: she made sure we enjoyed every stop to the fullest, with advice on what to do and where to go. [...] A fantastic way to see the coast. [...] It was a full day, but we loved it very much.

An entry ticket to the Cinque Terre does not exist: the villages can be visited freely. The listing includes train tickets and an «entry ticket to the Park», except in the transport-only option. What the Park Card covers is explained in the Cinque Terre Card guide.
On GetYourGuide it starts from $61 per person (October 2026); the price changes with the option chosen, between transport only, trekking and Pisa. The boat, when available, is paid separately on the day.
No. From late March to October, if the weather allows, the boat from Monterosso to Riomaggiore is confirmed on the day and paid at that time. Boat lines and tickets are in the boat guide.
No: it is only if you choose the option with the excursion, and those who do not walk go to Vernazza by train with the guide. The Park classifies the section as «Esperto», 1 h 30, and the itinerary may change if the trails are closed. All sections are in the trail and Via dell'Amore guide.
