Portovenere and Cinque Terre in a mini yacht

A full day, seven hours, on a mini yacht from La Spezia: Portovenere seen from the sea, then the Cinque Terre coast, with stops for swimming, a light lunch on board, local wine and drinks. It is the option for those who want to spend the day on the water with a local crew, and know that reviews are still few.

One-day cruise with lunch on board

The experience

The meeting point is at Fish & chill, in Viale Giovanni Amendola in La Spezia. From there the mini yacht, which the listing calls Giulietta, crosses the Golfo dei Poeti and passes in front of Portovenere, then heads towards the Cinque Terre. Along the coast there are stops for swimming; on board there is a light lunch with Italian recipes, focaccia and homemade pesto among the examples in the listing, local wine, drinks and water, available all day. Depending on the sea conditions and the captain's opinion, there may be a stop in Monterosso for an ice cream or a short break on land.

One thing to say clearly: the rating is 5.0, but with 19 reviews. There are still few, so weigh them as such. The boat has a private bathroom below deck and a freshwater shower outdoors for after swimming. Towels are not included (there is a rental on request), nor are personal expenses on land and tips. Red wine, non-foldable strollers and food or drinks brought from outside are not allowed, except for allergies, children or medicine. The tour is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties or who use a wheelchair.

The price starts from $195 per person (GetYourGuide, October 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. For comparison, the scheduled boat, Linea 02 of Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti, has a Cinque Terre Daily Ticket from La Spezia at €42 for an adult and €15 reduced, to get on and off all day, without lunch and without a guide (price list in force on the operator's website as of October 2026; Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti schedules). Portovenere and the islands Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto have been UNESCO World Heritage since 1997, together with the Cinque Terre.

What travellers say

★★★★★

Diego and Jacopo were an excellent pilot and an excellent host. Both know the area very well and know how to engage. We also had excellent local wine and beer, along with prosecco, and a wonderful lunch on board. I highly recommend it!
