Cinque Terre and Pisa from Florence

A day from Florence with two stops in the Cinque Terre, Vernazza and Manarola, and one in Pisa in Piazza dei Miracoli, with a tour leader and train tickets between villages already included. This is for those with only one day who want to combine the coast and the Tower without organizing the trains themselves.

Cinque Terre and Pisa from Florence

The experience

You leave Florence early in the morning towards La Spezia, about two hours of travel. Depending on the option, you go by minivan with the tour leader or alone by train, with detailed instructions sent in advance: check carefully which you choose. From La Spezia you continue with the regional train inside the Cinque Terre. In Vernazza you have about an hour and a half of free time, in Manarola about two hours. In the afternoon you go to Pisa, with more than an hour of free time in Piazza dei Miracoli, and return to Florence in the early evening.

Two details to read carefully. The list of inclusions talks about guided visits to Vernazza and Manarola, while the important information says that visits to the Cinque Terre and Pisa are free: count on a tour leader who organises and advises, and on free time in the villages. The Tower of Pisa ticket is not included, but the listing says it can be booked on request. Lunch and tips are excluded. The activity level is moderate, with uneven ground, stairs and climbs; strollers, suitcases and large bags are not allowed.

The price starts from $122 per person (GetYourGuide, October 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. At the Cinque Terre you do not pay an entry fee: you pay for the train. For comparison, the official Cinque Terre ticket for one trip costs €5, €8 or €10 for an adult according to band A, B or C, and the Treno MS Card for one day €22, €29.50 or €35, from 14 March to 1 November 2026 (the Trenitalia Cinque Terre page, the Treno MS Card price list). The Card is only needed for the paid trail, which is not part of this program.
